Car Auto Online - 2012 Honda NSX & All New CR-V, Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology Concept - Honda NSX Concept and All New CR-V Concept, are Honda’s flagship cars at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. And Honda was using the concept of "Earth Dreams Technology" on their booth and display during the auto show.
Earth Dreams Technology is the latest environmentally friendly engine technologies that improve driving performance better and increase the level of fuel efficiency of the car. The application of these technologies can be seen on the two concept cars displayed at the show, the Honda NSX Concept and the All New CR-V Concept.
Honda officially said, the NSX Concept provides Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system, which is part of the Earth Dreams Technology. And it’s claimed to increase fuel efficiency, as well as Honda's commitment to reduce the level of CO2 emissions.
While the prototype of All New CR-V will use new engine, the 1.6-L Clean Diesel engine (i-DTEC). The engine is also used for the All New Honda Civic European version. Besides the two main concept car, Honda also revealed other concept cars at the Geneva Motor Show, the EV- STER which is the latest generation of Honda’s electric sports car concept model.
In addition, Honda also shows Jazz Si for the first time, which is the latest line-up of Honda Jazz sold in the European market. Jazz Si is equipped with 1.4-liter Honda i-VTEC engine, CVT technology gearbox for type A / T, and 5 speed transmission for M / T, and various high-level safety features.
